On 26 July 2012 EuroPadel members gathered for a long hot summer night. A lot of activity on the court with a good blend of male and female players made it once again a great ‘Summer Holiday’ Pachanga.
Summer pachangas are still going strong: good attendance, fresh porron (chose was introduce as the refreshing touch), warm evening, lively spirits and ever better Padel.
Early birds: Cristobal, Isabel, Alfie 2 and Piris Niño competed fiery supporting the more that 35 degrees inside the court. Little by little enthusiastic padelists were making their appearance. The ladies made again a strong presence, and all mini matches were mix or counted at least with a female presence.
Our female Bitxorri Press was everywhere making memoralia for the history of our club. No detail escaped from the Sherlock Holmes’ eye of her camera.
Maria and the Presi disappeared behind a bush, but all they were doing was working hard on the future of our club, exploring with the audacity and the dismaying energy of a Stanley, yet unknown territories in order to place new Padel courts.
Patrick was, as always, at hands with technologies.
The chatting in the open air was lively but it did not stop the honourable members from cheering and applauding the good shots inside the court. The game Ana-Mercedes against Carmen-Christian (a.k.a. Cristobal) was followed with passion and the best shots of La Tigresa de Las Arenas were applauded warmly.

Laurent was sick but staff at Waterloo Tennis did their best. Jonatan came to rescue and we received an excellent hot, very hot apero coming directly from the oven. It was much appreciated despite the high temperature.
The evening went on until late. All rewarded by a lovely summer breeze, munchies fresh from the oven and much more . . .
