EUROPADEL TROOPS CONQUER THE BRUSSELS MUS NBA TROPHY

Si señora, lo ha oido bien, Europadel mete las narices por tos laos, hasta en la sopa! Ahora tambien ganamos al mus!! A este paso vamos a acabar montando hasta sección de petanca!

XII Torneo de Mus BBVA de Bruselas

 Como tooodo el mundo sabe, la NBA de mus reune cada año a la creme de la creme del mus centro-europeo en un torneo patrocinado por BBVA- Bélgica, probablemente el mejor banco de Bruselas, y no solo porque sea sponsor de EuroPadel  🙂

Well, let’s go to the meollo: the XXII Trofeo de Mus de Bruselas BBVA took place last Saturday 6 June at the famous Amigos de Aragon resto. This Trophy gathers the best 8 teams of mus in the Brussels region, and is “by invitation only”. This year the selected players were:

The teams were divided in 2 groups of 4 by sorteo, playing each 3 matches in the same group. The winner of each group faces rival Group winner in a final match to decide 1st and 2nd place; Group 2nds play against each other for 3rd and 4th place. The rest are like stones and give tobacco…

The winners of Group A were, of course, the team made by Emilio and Alfonso, well known members of EuroPadel, who defeated without pity all its rivals, including the current champions Miguel Angel and Antonio, giving away a rosco for Cesareo.

On Group B it was no surprise to see the victory of the couple Elena-Ana, who played strongly and firmly defeating without anestesy all Group B teams. Ana is also a well know member of EuroPadel. The only finalist not member of EuroPadel was Elena, but she is already thinking of joining the padel cause.

Before the final battle, Amigos de Aragón served superb delicacies from the Aragon Region so the players could recover stamina and lost moral, vaya banquete:

After the meal Elena and ana went to play the final with full stamina after drinking several expresso coffees, while Emilio and Alfonso opted for the more classical approach of Copa y Puro, the result was devastating and Elena and Ana won the final by 4-1!!

XII NBA Trophy Champions and Sub-Champions

 It was also decisive the Royal connections of Elena, who has very good relations with the King and his cousins, they were constantly visiting her and she always had at least 3 visit cards with the photo of the king!! This phenomenon in mus is know as the PERMANENT SOLOMILLO TRICK, and only very skilled mus players can achieve it.

Ana, also known as the Queen of Duples, was also obtaining fantastic cards on  permanent rotation between Thirty-One and Duples of Pigs and 6.

 Taking into account this, not to mention their mus skills and their natural charm, and teh very important fact that Emilio only had Peretes (4,5,6 y 7s) and Alfonso only got Juanetes (Sota y Pito con 6 y 7)… paliza femenina ! Ladies victory in the Mus Trophy!
